When Mr. Nugent was asked how he felt about being in a room with so many victims of gun violence during the SOTU he responded,

Gosh, it was…um…painful knowing that we have engineered recidivism. That our mental health system has failed so thoroughly that people who threaten lives and conduct themselves in dangerous abhorrent behavior…and have been alerted…officials have been alerted by coworkers, fellow students, mothers and fathers of these mass murderers. So, I…I am compelled to cry tears of blood that the recidivism and the slaughter by crazy people goes on unabated while we worry about how many bullets Ted Nugent has.

We’ll wait while you try to absorb that bizarre pile of barely-coherent gibberish.

It is simply mind boggling to us that Ted Nugent doesn’t see that HE is the crazy person we are afraid of because HE engages in “dangerous abhorrent behavior,” as he puts it.  HE made threats against President Obama and other Democrats that were taken seriously enough by “officials” that the Secret Service paid him a visit!  So, worrying about mentally unstable people obtaining guns and worrying about how many bullets Ted Nugent has (for his GUNS) is essentially THE SAME DAMN THING.

He is also in complete denial about his statement comparing liberals to coyotes that should be shot, another clear sign of mental illness.  Here is his exact quote for your consideration:
