Democratic Representative Elijah Cummings is claiming that Republican Darrel Issa “misunderstood or mischaracterized” information he released regarding Healthcare.gov.
Previously this week, Issa released a statement claiming stress tests for the website, one day before it’s unveiling, revealed HealthCare.gov concluded it was only “able to reach 1100 users before response time gets too high.” Which as a result, caused the system to crash repeatedly for it’s users.
In response, Rep. Cummings stated
[box type=”shadow”]”You appear to be conflating the results of a much smaller testing environment with final production testing of the system at full capacity. This is not the first time you have accused a White House official of being a ‘paid liar,’ a practice that several of your Republican colleagues have condemned.”[/box]
