Well, we are off to a day of misinformation and skewed thinking according to FOX News. This really is not the day to come toward Liberals with such misinformation as Hannity does, because we will interpret this as merely a ploy to control the minority (28%). I am sure the 28% will eat this misinformation up. Check out the video below just in case you do not believe me.
Hannity had Michele Bachman siding with him today. However, he started his rant with statistical arguments that, due to the government shutdown 110,000 IBM employees’ health insurance is up, that 250 adjunct professors are being laid off at whatever college.
I am a logic person, so let us start with claim number one from Hannity: “110,000 IBM emloyees’ health insurance is up”. Well notwithstanding the fact that Obamacare is not even in place, then show me (please) how IBM’s employees’ health insurance is up. The only thing that I can think of is that the health insurance company IS scared and knows Obamacare will take effect, and are considering this a precautionary strategy incase business liquidation surfaces.
Nonetheless Mister Hannity, in the book “How To Win Every Argument” the fallacy cum hoc, ergo propter hoc is addressed and is used in light of statistical arguments drawing attention from the subject matter. So, go home! Same goes for his adjunct professor argument – go home! The subject matter is that Democrats and Liberals have esteemed persons to the right of them to tag along. Therefore, I’I’I’ sa’sa’say again: no Hannity and Bachmann you are not winning.
The fallible nature of FOX nauseates me . . . and so delineates me from my natural schedule by inducing a stop at the restroom.
