Nancy Salgado, a McDonald’s employee for a decade, confronted the President of the fast food corporation during a convention, saying she doesn’t make enough money to provide for her children.
Amazing footage shows the mother of two children shouting out and asking for a raise from the $8.25 an hour that is keeping her in poverty.
The president reponded the podium was that he had been with the company for 40 years, but the pleasantries then stopped when he threatened to have her arrested.
Salgado, armed with her faith and the strong belief that the wages are unfair, pushed back against all the corporate power in the room and made her stand. She was not arrested but was given a ticket for trespassing.
She still works at McDonald’s but fears reprisal and losing her job.
