wit term former Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin, recently reaffirmed what America already knew: She’s an airheaded, racist waste! This week, Sarah somehow lacked the foresight to realize that comparing much of anything to hundreds of years of oppression of an entire race of people may be met with a certain amount of disapproval.
Stupid Spice explained to a crowd in Iowa that the national debt is just like selling human beings to the highest bidder, working them to death, abusing them, and killing them. Sarah sparked outrage with her idiotic comparison, leading to a swift, sincere apology.
Who are we trying to fool? This is Sarah Palin we’re talking about, here! Sarah stood behind her remarks! Sarah explained that she’s “not one to be politically correct“, and that people who are angry with her are simply choosing to misinterpret what she is saying…which, once again, is that the national debt is just like the bloody practice of owning people. Sarah is sure, though, that “if we open up a dictionary,” we can find something in there that will show that the national debt will cause us to be “shackled.”
In Martin Bashir’s Clear the Air segment, he lit into America’s “resident dunce,” saying that she was “scraping the barrel of her long-deceased mind, and using her all-time favorite analogy in an attempt to sound intelligent about the national debt”
Bashir played a clip of the scatterbrained imbecile’s half-baked utterances, commenting that “Given her well-established reputation as a world class idiot, it’s hardly surprising that she should choose to mention slavery in a way that is abominable to anyone who knows anything about its barbaric history.”
Bashir provided an example of one of the “most comprehensive first-person accounts of slavery, which “comes from the personal diary of a man called Thomas Thistlewood, who kept copious notes for 39 years. Thistlewood was the son of a tenant farmer, who arrived on the island of Jamaica in April 1750, and assumed the position of overseer at a major plantation.”
“What is most shocking about Thistlewood’s diary is not simply the fact that he assumes the right to own and possess other human beings, but is the sheer cruelty and brutality of his regime. In 1756, he records that a slave named Derby ‘catched eating kanes had him well flogged and pickled, then made Hector, another slave, s-h-i-t in his mouth,” Bashir added.
He explained that this treatment became known as Derby’s Dose. Bashir said that, “When Mrs. Palin invokes slavery, she doesn’t just prove her rank ignorance. She confirms if anyone truly qualified for a dose of discipline from Thomas Thistlewood, she would be the outstanding candidate.”
We agree with Mr. Bashir! If anyone deserves to be on the receiving end of “Derby’s Dose”, it’s the imbecile who can somehow see Russia from her porch, but can’t see the point…even when it’s right in front of her.
