A man who attempted to organize “Operation Secure Our Border,” a right-wing loon effort to dissuade people from crossing the border illegally, with their trusty Freedom Sticks, has been revealed to be a member of Open Carry Texas.
Chris “Threepercenter” Davis, the group’s leader, is a 37-year-old truck driver who was discharged from the Army in 2001 under “other than honorable conditions in lieu of trial by court martial,” according to San Antonio Express-News, though the details are protected from public knowledge by the Privacy Act of 1974. Davis served in the Army from 1996-2001 and was ranked Private at the time of his discharge.
In 2013, Davis was one of three men cited by San Antonio police for disorderly conduct for open carrying outside a Starbucks:
“You see an illegal,” Davis says in a now-deleted video. “You point your gun dead at him, right between his eyes, and you say, ‘Get back across the border or you will be shot.’”
“We have patriots all across this country who are willing to sacrifice their time, money even quit their jobs to come down and fight for freedom, liberty and national soveringhty,” Davis said in an interview on Tuesday.
However, all is not well in Crazytown. Davis has deleted his Facebook and YouTube, and disappeared–presumably, with the money and supplies that have already been donated.
Commenters responded that his accounts were deleted for “strategic purposes” and “nothing nefarious” but have said nothing about Fearless Leader’s whereabouts.
The group continues to beg for supplies and money, and has announced racist Welfare Cowboy Cliven Bundy’s support for the “operation.”
Rodgers explained, “The commander (Davis) has gone black because of security threats.” However, she will not detail what “threats” exist to their “commander’s” safety.
