When police in Oklahoma City arrived at the apartment of Jeremy Jarnell Anderson, his face was bloody.
Anderson’s hands were covered in salt and soap. He was acting wild and out of control and didn’t seemed affected when the police tasered him. The 22-year-old man pulled out the taser probes and challenged the officers to a fight.
Finally, a fire in the apartment that soon filled the rooms with smoke distracted Anderson long enough for him to be arrested.
The source of the blaze was a burning Bible. Anderson, a self-proclaimed Satanist, says he was ordered by a homosexual demon to do drugs and have sex.
It is unclear who had the idea to ignite the Bible.
Anderson insisted to police that he is not gay. And is “ashamed” he let the demon take advantage of him.
God only knows what happened in that apartment.
Anderson could be the poster child for better background checks for gun purchases. Initially he told the police he would have shot them and his neighbors if he had access to a weapon.
Later he recanted and insisted he was only “remodeling” his apartment.
Is that what the kids are calling it today?
This bears repeating: a tragedy was avoided because there was no gun available.
