We want to demonstrate that the War on Women, waged on all levels including obvious disdain, is not limited to the Tea Party folks.
The international law firm of Clifford Chase distributed a memo titled: Presentation Tips for Women.
Yes, this is happening today in the year 2013.
Some of the suggestions, albeit obvious and insulting, could be directed to all attorneys: Stand up straight. And don’t wave your arms.
What? Men don’t slouch?
Most of the memo is such high-octane awful that is seems more likely that a he-man woman hater like Rush Limbaugh would craft it and not the women’s committee of the law firm.
One lady lawyer labeled it: alleged woman on woman crime.
Even beyond the extreme misogyny of the memo is the underlying belief that well educated women attorneys have to practice big words.
Maybe someone should sue? Just saying.
If the law firm is looking for parity, how about some tips for men?
Don’t scratch various and sundry body parts.
Don’t talk down to women and others.
Don’t forget to prepare for trial because it’s football season.
