KISS frontman Gene Simmons has had a lot to say lately–and none of it is, exactly, good. Simmons recently told the dirty poors of America that they need to be nicer to rich people like him–the almighty job creators. Shortly after, Simmons rambled about President Obama’s untrustworthiness–and used a child-beating analogy to show just how awful our President is. If you’re wondering what’s next in Simmons’ barrage of idiocy–how about a demand that immigrants learn English?
Simmons, who moved to America with his mother from Israel when he was eight years old, has some advice to anyone else who comes to America: ‘Speak ‘Murikan!’
Simmons, appearing on HuffPost Live, talked briefly about his band’s new tour and reality series before moving on to topics that are important to him: immigration.
I’m actually saying the thing that needs to be said because the politically correct climate is bullshit,” Simmons said. “You don’t want to upset anybody by saying, ‘Learn to speak goddamn English.’ So, as an immigrant, I’m telling you: learn to speak goddamn English. It is the key that will unlock the keys to the kingdom.” He spoke momentarily about America’s greatness for those who are willing to abandon their language and culture to speak ‘Murikan–all while plugging his numerous businesses, shows, and investments.
He added that if someone is in their 40’s or 50’s and is too busy working to learn the language, they should “work at menial labor to make it possible for the next generation to go to proper schools and learn the culture and language.”
“How about this: if Siri can’t understand you, you’re in trouble,” Simmons said.
