Several jurors from the George Zimmerman trial are speaking out in an effort to distance themselves from the controversial stance of Juror B37, who said in an interview with Anderson Cooper last week that Trayvon Martin’s death was partially his own fault. One in particular, who happens to be the only minority on the jury, says Zimmerman got away with murder, but there was nothing she could do according to Florida law to hold him accountable.
According to the juror who, afraid for her safety, identified herself only by her first name, Maddy:
“George Zimmerman got away with murder, but you can’t get away from God. And at the end of the day, he’s going to have a lot of questions and answers he has to deal with. [But] the law couldn’t prove it.”
