At times, one must wonder if Joe the Plumber and Chimpout share an audience — because Joe’s comment section is consistently full of incredibly “not-racist” “celebrations of white heritage” or, if you prefer, insanely racist rants. As always, Joe, who recently called Ferguson protesters “cockroaches,” was quick to unleash once the family of Michael Brown, a highly religious bunch, said Officer Darren Wilson would be punished by a “higher power” for the “evil” action of shooting the unarmed African-American teen, even if he is cleared by the mostly-white grand jury.
“Can’t really figure out if it’s a veiled threat or just a threat,” Joe writes before quoting a Daily Mail article outlining Darren Wilson’s account of the shooting. “There’s still the potential civil rights prosecution brought by the federal government after Attorney General Eric Holder began an FBI investigation as well, so this thing isn’t over by a long shot. Justice? There’s another long-shot..” Joe continued.”
All of this, along with a short, uncited segment of an AP story that states “Missouri police have been brushing up on constitutional rights and stocking up on riot gear to prepare for a grand jury’s decision about whether to charge a white police officer who fatally shot a black 18-year-old in suburban St. Louis,” was enough to send Joe’s rabid followers into a frenzy.

This is just a reminder that these people will be voting on November 4. Will You?
