Jeb Bush is a total goon.
It’s that Lenny kind of ignorance that you can’t help but feel sympathetic towards.
Not only are his eyes so close together he looks like a Garbage Pail Kid, but the things that come out of this man’s mouth…eeek.
On more than one occasion, he has praised his brother’s response to the 9/11 terror attacks.
Most of the country, the ones with functioning noggins at least, now know that Bush’s reaction to the attacks was anything but awe inspiring.
Some, like me, are even calling the acts of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, war crimes.
Jeb doesn’t really seem to care that the actions of his brother sent thousands of American troops to their deaths in a war against the wrong country.
To Jeb, that’s just a minor detail.
“The case study of leadership is how George responded to 9/11, period, over and out. How he responded to 9/11, was just awe-inspiring. People were united. And people really got it that he had a heart for them. At that time, as you know, kids were crying. All around people, children and grandchildren didn’t know what was going on. The whole world was turned upside down, and you had a president who was staid and sure and strong. And the idea that a candidate could think that they could make political hay to create a new … narrative on the reality on how he led is a joke.”
That was truly hard to follow. The man is not known for being poetic.
What he is known for is being a Bush, and I am hopeful when I say that I don’t think we will see another Bush become leader of the free world.
Not if we are smart, anyway.
This recent quote by Jeb comes very soon after the emails released by Hillary Clinton that showed GWB and Tony Blair already had an agreement to invade Iraq, they just needed a reason. Cue 9/11.
I wonder if there was a moment of excitement for GWB when the planes hit the towers and people began falling from the sky.
I wonder if he was thinking, this is it, this is my chance.
