Hey conservatives, Herman Cain has a message for you: Don’t vote!
Speaking at a Faith and Freedom Coalition conference on Friday, Cain told the audience that they–stupid people–were ruining America. Cain pointed out that only 58% of registered voters actually made it to the polls in the last Presidential election.
“What about the 42% that stay at home?”
“I have even heard people say, ‘Well, I don’t vote because I don’t know what’s going on,’” Cain remarked. “And I say ‘good!’ Stupid people are ruining America and I’m glad some of a them stay home.”
Cain apparently forgot where he was, as he told the assembled crowd of conservatives, “Those of us that are informed have to out-vote the stupid people. And you have got to become ambassadors of intelligence, ambassadors of information. So number one, stay informed!”
Unfortunately for Cain he was, perhaps unintentionally, giving these people the false idea that The Blaze, WorldNetDaily, and the Tea Party News Network actually “inform” people.
However, these “ambassadors of intelligence” will be little use in any effort toward rational discourse.
Watch Cain’s unintentional honesty below:
