As I have said countless times over: America has become a joke to most, if not all, other nations. This is mainly due to the fact that we allow the jackasses in the GOP to have a serious sway in our government system, and they are known to be less than intellectual.
Can you imagine how we look to others? We have Donald Rump on a pulpit, making faces and name calling like a child. We allow liars like Carly Fiorina to brainwash an entire portion of our citizens with complete fabrications, and she still has a job.
Why is it that if I am dishonest at work, I no longer have a job, but politicians, especially Republicans, lie daily and are never even so much as warned about their behavior? Why do we allow the GOP to exist when they are complete and utter fools?
On Sunday, Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani did an interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour. I noticed that immediately when Amanpour mentions the GOP, a smirk comes across the face of Rouhani.
He is entertained by the mere mention of the GOP.
He then gave an extremely insightful message about the Iran Deal and the GOP:
“Sometimes when I would have time, some of it was broadcast live and I would watch it — some of it was quite laughable. It was very strange, the things that they spoke of.”
“Some of them wouldn’t even know where Tehran was in relation to Iran. Some of them didn’t know where Iran was geographically, not distinguishing that one is the capital of the other.”
“So what they spoke of was quite far away from the truth. So the people of Iran were looking at it as a form of entertainment, if you will, and found it laughable.”
Republicans across the board have agreed that when elected president, they would put an end to the Iran deal.
Conservative dipsh*t, Ted Cruz made this statement regarding his plans as president:
“I will rip to shreds this catastrophic Iranian nuclear deal.”
The Iranian President, comparing Republicans to Saddam Hussein, truthfully replied:
“Can a government become a signatory to an international agreement and then the subsequent government tear it to shreds? This is something that only the likes of Saddam Hussein would do.”
“Saddam Hussein, previous to attacking Iran in 1980, did sign an agreement with Iran and then tore it to shreds himself and then attacked Iran.”
“So any government that replaces the current government must keep itself committed to the commitments given by the previous administration; otherwise, that government, that entire country, will lose trust internationally and no longer have the type of needed trust to operate in the international arena.”
“So finally, I think most of these are political slogans at best.”
If Hassan Rouhani gets it, why can’t the American people?!
