Insane Tea Party Pennsylvania police chief, Mark Kessler, who made profanity-laden YouTube videos while firing machine guns and ranting about liberals has been suspended without pay for 30 days. In a nearly hour-long executive session, the Gilberton Borough Council voted 5-1 on Wednesday to suspend him. Kessler used machine guns and other weapons belonging to Gilberton Borough, some of which he donated to the borough to make violent, threatening, and terroristic right-wing propaganda videos which he uploaded to YouTube. The police chief was suspended for using “borough property for non-borough purposes without prior borough permission.”
According to WFMZ-TV:
“Dozens of people who backed Kessler were dressed like militia, and several carried loaded semi-automatic weapons. Others carried American flags and carried signs that read “Impeach Obama, Kessler For President” and “Legalize The Constitution.” Things got a bit heated and almost chaotic when Michael Morrill, executive director of Keystone Progress, was trying to explain to the media throng why his group was demanding that Kessler be fired. Hecklers hollered “Why do you hate freedom?”, “Why don’t you get your facts straight?” and “Liberal lies!” at Morrill as he was saying he was going to deliver an on-line petition with 20,000 signatures demanding Kessler’s ouster.”
Kessler was asked if he would do anything differently and he said, “I make no apologies and have no regrets.”
Typical. We think this dangerous violent lunatic shouldn’t have a badge – and definitely shouldn’t have access to firearms.
