Guess who just aired their “sorely missed” opinion about the situation in Ferguson?
If you guessed none other than Rush Limbaugh, c’mon down and collect your free internet cookie.
On Tuesday, Limbaugh elaborated how everything that’s been happening in Ferguson ties back to Benghazi and ultimately, to President Barack Obama. The rambling was sparked by a caller on his show who told Limbaugh that he was tired of reading about Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson in the media coverage of the ongoing Ferguson protests, and felt that the two men have been “using this event to gain political bank.”
Now, these feelings aren’t new. Every time you mention the name “Al Sharpton” or “Jesse Jackson” around a right-winger, their heads blow up and they sputter froth and rage, stammering about “poverty pimps.”
Limbaugh isn’t any different. Limbaugh said that he agreed that the caller was right, but then went full-on Alex Jones, saying that “this is far bigger than Reverend Jackson and Al Sharpton.”
Limbaugh noted that he heard Sharpton had tried to charge the family of Michael Brown for his services, before tying Sharpton’s involvement in Ferguson to the Obama administration, saying:
But this is the Democrat Party, folks. The president of the United States is in charge of what’s happened here. I think it is time for everybody to come to grips with a simple reality. I don’t care what scandal you name — Benghazi, Fast and Furious, take your pick, IRS — has anybody involved in any of these scandals been fired? Not a single person.
But he wasn’t done. See, the whole point of Ferguson is to wipe out the libertarians and the Republican party, because reasons, okay?
This is about wiping out the Republican Party. This is about wiping out the Libertarians. This is about wiping out anybody who opposes Obama. Every bit of this. This isn’t Al Sharpton. This isn’t Jesse Jackson. They’re just tag-alongs now. This is Obama and Holder. But all of this is Barack Obama. Every event, every detail, every occurrence is Obama. And the end result is the end and absence of any opposition. So that’s what Ferguson’s all about, like all the rest of this has been about.
Yes, but what I really want to know is how this all ties into MH-17. Can you explain that, Rush?
And just think; they’re usually the first in line to accuse black people of playing the victim card.
