Gary, Indiana police are going on record saying there’s a bunch of ghosts haunting a house in their community. The small house on Carolina Street previously inhabited by Latoya Ammons, her three children and their grandmother, is said by local psychics to be inhabited by more than 200 demons.
Just so we are clear, police and social workers are lending their voices to the veracity of this story, and there are 800 pages of official documents backing up the hauntings and related events.
“The family said demons possessed Ammons and her children, then ages 7, 9 and 12,” the Indianapolis Star reports. “The kids’ eyes bulged, evil smiles crossed their faces, and their voices deepened every time it happened.”
Even though social workers found the house clean and the fridge full of food, they still took the children away for some time.
A physician, who apparently is the only person with any sense of reason in this story, visited the home and said the behavior was “delusional.” An unnamed source said the children were “performing” for the mother, and that she was “encouraging” the behavior. However, since the child workers came to believe the story about demons, the children have been returned.
The owner of the house has asked local police and residents to quit driving by the house to keep from spooking the new tenants.
We could not make this stuff up.
