You know what the delusional idiots organizing to point guns at brown people, suggesting that we solve the border crisis by blowing up children with land mines, and dreaming of a FINAL SOLUTION to the problem need? More people fueling their irrational fears of “criminal” and “diseased” Central American kids–that’s what!
In an interview on Indianapolis’ WIBC-FM’s “Garrison” radio program Indiana Congressman Rep. Todd Rokita(R) said on Monday that Central American immigrant kids may be carrying the Ebola virus, which has killed 800 people this year in West Africa.
No human ebola illness has been contracted in the Western Hemisphere to date, and none of the unaccompanied minor released to relatives have Ebola, according to the U.S. Office of Refugee Resettlement. All children receive vaccinations and medical screenings before they are released. The agency says no child with a contagious condition is released.
Rokita did not provide evidence of his irrational claim, but he sure meant it! He recalled a conversation with fellow Rep. Larry Bucshon, where the two agreed that providing assistance to these well-vaccinated children represents a public health risk.
“He said, look, we need to know just from a public-health standpoint, with Ebola circulating and everything else — no, that’s my addition to it, not necessarily his — but he said we need to know the condition of these kids,” Rokita said.
Rokita said that he doubts the claim that the 30,340 children released to relatives and sponsors are healthy and suggested keeping the refugees concentrated in one area. Like in a camp, of sorts.
“If we believe that a majority of them should be reunited with their parents in their countries, letting them diffuse into the community is just going to be harder to get them to the hearing, harder to find out where they are, who they are,” Rokita said.
Rokita said that President Obama is a poor leader and is supporting “this insurgency of sneaking these kids in.”
More bright ideas from “Christian” conservatives.
