Yet another police officer has been caught making disgusting remarks about Michael Brown, the unarmed teenager gunned down in the street by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson. Elgin, Illinois Police Officer Jason Lentz was terminated after officials decided a Facebook post made by Lentz “”would undermine the credibility of the city or employees.”
The post in question, a link shared from FOX News, said that Wilson “did society a favor” by killing Brown.
Lentz has also posted in protest of Martin Luther King Day, saying that he would be keeping his child home on Veteran’s Day as long as children have the day off for Martin Luther King Day:
Lentz was also critical of Highway Patrol Captain Ron Johnson when he shared a photo that circulated right-wing social media. The photo was purported to be of Johnson flashing “gang signs” that were revealed to be his fraternity greeting.
The now-former officer was a 17-year veteran of the Elgin Police Department.
