A man bit off more than he could chew when he attempted to rob a Cheddar’s in San Antonio, Texas. The yet-unnamed individual sneaked in the back door of the restaurant late Wednesday night as employees were performing their end of the night duties and attempted to rob them.
Employees ganged up on the would-be thief, tied him up with a tablecloth, and held him down until police arrived. When officers got to the restaurant around midnight, all ten of the employees were sitting on him. During the events, the suspect bit the restaurant manager, but he is expected to be fine.
The man was arrested, and faces aggravated robbery charges. It is unclear as of yet if he was armed, and in what manner, though a News 4 report says he attempted to “hold up” staff, which alludes to the possibility of a gun.
