Would it shock you to know that Governor Perry doesn’t how to use “tweeter?”
Perry recently faced indictment for his attempt to push Rosemary Lehmberg out of office after she was busted drinking and driving. Now, there were certainly better ways he could’ve handled his feud with Lehmberg: he could’ve taken the high road, and used it to make a a statement about drinking related issues.
He could’ve used it prove he was a good statesman, and sharpen his image as a potential President in 2016 . He could’ve . . . uh . . . I forgot the third one.
Instead, he attempted to bully her out of office, abusing his powers in the process, and is now looking at jail time because of it.
And the feud? Well, you decide for yourself — here’s the picture Perry or “someone in his camp” tweeted:
The tweet was promptly retracted, because it was “unauthorized” and Perry “didn’t condone it.” When the LA Times attempted to get in touch with Perry’s office, nobody was home. Of course, by the time they retracted it, it’d already gotten 600 shares.
This is a crude image at best. There’s bad blood between Perry and Lehmberg, yes, but that doesn’t mean someone who’s supposed to be a governor should be indulging in this sort of juvenile behavior.
