Pope Francis has been making a lot of political sense lately. He is a supporter of marriage equality and gun control, garners forgiveness for women who have had abortions, he is anti-capitalism and anti-greed, he demands compassion for poor and homeless people, he is anti-trickle down economics and thinks the rich should be taxed. In short, the man is the best Pope the world has ever seen.
So of course Republicans are labeling him as the anti-Christ.
And no exceptions were made when the Pope made a public visit to the United States this week.
The jackasses over at Faux News continued to show their intellect through their vile behavior towards the holy man.
In his first Papal Treatise, Pope Francis wrote about the reasons that “hinder the faithful from sincerely and joyfully sharing the Gospel and that prevent others from hearing it”. The list includes:
“…an ‘economy of exclusion,’ where ‘human beings are themselves considered consumer goods to be used and then discarded’, the ‘new idolatry of money,’ which derives from ‘the denial of the primacy of the human person’, a ‘financial system which rules rather than serves’, rampant ‘inequality which spawns violence’, and an array of other cultural concerns such as secularism, the breakdown of the family, and the viewing of marriage as a means to ‘mere emotional satisfaction that can be constructed in any way or modified at will’.”
The Pope was met with a barrage of bullsh*t from Fox News comedians — I mean commentators — like Michael Savage, who said the Pope was:
“Hand-Selected By the New World Order, and is a danger to the world.”
Rush Limbaugh weighed in with his ignorant opinion:
“Pope Is Marxist For Releasing Climate Change Encyclical.”
George Will makes this remark, to which I can only shake my head:
“The Pope’s stances on climate change and poverty are demonstrably false and deeply reactionary.”
We are certainly sorry if the Pope made you think…or by chance made your tiny black heart feel some sort of empathy towards climate change and the homeless. Shame on him!
Alex Jones proves he is batsh*t crazy with this quote:
“Pope Is A Part Of The Globalist Plan To Destroy The World And Usher In A One-World Government.”
And Lou Fuck*ng Dobbs made this dumbass remark:
“His job is to get souls into Heaven, period. His job is not to tell governments how to spend money..”
These Fox News twits can go on forever.
