Hannity Stops Interview After A Brutal Stomping By Keith Ellison! (video)

There is a lot of finger pointing when it comes to the politics of the so-called sequester. Whose idea was the sequester? Who wanted it, and who fought for it? My liberal friends, we know that the Sequester is a provision of the Budget Control Act, which was as Rep. Ellison puts it, “Shoved down the American people’s throats by the Republican party.”

The money quote from this interview?

Ellison said, “Quite frankly, you are the worst excuse for a journalist I’ve ever seen. It’s absurd that you — the worst.”

Check it out!

  1. Fox “News” is to journalism what rap is to music.

  2. SpineshankRedemption

    YOU’RE a broken record! XD

  3. Kinda funny Ellison would not answer the question asked.

  4. I am a Conservative Conservative Conservative Conservative Conservative Conservative Conservative Conservative Conservative Conservative Conservative …
AKA Republicon Republicon Republicon Republicon Republicon Republicon Republicon Republicon Republicon Republicon Stooge !!!

  5. You go Mr. Ellison! It felt so good to sit back and watch the Hannity get what he deserves! OMG, I hope to see more people stand up to this fear mongering, lying, propaganda spewing jerk! I will cherish this video for the rest of my life! Great Job Mr. Ellison!

  6. Keith Ellison is a coward. keep talking so you don’t have to answer any questions.

  7. Finally the truth was able 2 be told Thank You Keith Ellison……Hannity is nothing but a liar

  8. Like most bullies, Hannity can’t take what he so frequently dishes out.

  9. Love what Keith Ellison said. You go! Hannity is an ass.

  10. I get nearly the same comedic entertainment from Fox N that I do from Comedy Central. That whole station needs a pie in the face.

  11. Hannity used the often used comment about our debt. It was at ~10T when Obama was elected and now its at ~16T, so it must be his fault. I would have liked Ellision to repsond with the facts. Our growing debt has very little do the with the policies of the current POTUS. It has far more to do with the unfunded wars and tax cuts from the Bush years. The POTUS has even argued stongly to raise some of our taxes to the level of the Clinton years. Guess who has blocked that too.

  12. Obamas sequester? the republicans overwhelmingly voted for this…the GOP has been publicly holding the US economy hostage since Aug 2011

  13. LMFAO somebody calling out Hannity & FOX ( This is not a news station! ) on their hate mongering and propaganda. They should be held accountable for telling half truth’s and being misleading to the public…like pulling their FCC license. The truth is available through public web sights…it is called the Open Records Act all the information can be accessed by anyone. All of the Representatives and Senators voting records, CSPAN carries all the hearings and debating on the floor of the House and Senate so you can hear the crap straight from their mouths. Everything is there for the public to see but, these neo con Teapublicans are like sheep…following that sound of lies that feeds their hate and bigotry. Keith Ellison calling out Hannity on his BS made my frigging day baby!

  14. sean (not hannity)

Sean Hannity is just a fucktard

  15. I despise Hennity and fox news, but am surely not proud of Keith Ellison conduct in this interview. He was enjoying and destructive. His message went nowhere due to heis conduct.

  16. The congressman is just proving what an intellectual midget he truely is. The lemmings of the liberal left are the kings of “yellow journalism”, and have proved it time after time.

    • Here we see the classic projection pathology of the GOP/Conservative. Note the traits he attributes to Rep Ellison are the opposite of the truth, but do exactly define Hannity and FauxNews.

  17. If Hannity is saying he’s registered with the Conservative Party, then he’s aligned with a party associated with the Heritage Foundation and American Enterprise Institute, along with a gaggle of teabaggers too.

  18. Bravo! So nice to see Hannity take the beating he deserves! He is such a liar and that people believe his crap is so unbelievable!

  19. @Robert Lent, you lose all credibility when you equate anarchism (the political philosophy) with chaos. Read a book, fella. Perhaps one by Emma Goldman.

    • I think Robert Lent is just telling it like it is. Hannity is part of the TeaBilly Party formerly known as CONservative. Why let an ex-roofer loose on the Fourth Estate when it calls for finesse and truth? Same goes for Glenn Beck the Mad Mormon who touts conspiracy lies for the TeaBillies to spread like manure over the land.

  20. Thank you, and Good For You Congressman Ellison. You are giving these CONservatives a taste of their OWN poison. I’ve watched GOP talking heads after GOP talking heads keep talking over any and everyone’s opinions by taking up all the oxygen in the room by talking and shouting down anyone with an opposite opinion to their precious “God-Given” right to make up things and call them “facts” when they are bald-faced lies. They think that all Liberals fell off the turnip truck into the weeds and come out like blooming idiots because Liberals attempt to take turns giving opinions while CONservatives shout and scream down anyone else in the room. These Family (cha-ching) organzations like Maggie Smith of NOM also screech and shrilly drown out any opposite opinions. This old old tactic is getting tiring. I’m glad to see that some Liberals are starting to pick up the samd skanky banner the CONservatives use to drown out Democracy. The solution is to sink into a Tower of Babel and eventually everyone will shut up and take turns speaking. Good on ya, Congressman Keith!

  21. Hannity is the biggest liar on television. Glad this man stood up to him and for our President.

  22. Is there something called a registered “conservative” I thought there were only three ways to register – independent, republican or democratic.

  23. Hannity is a shill and deserves it.

  24. I enjoyed watching the interaction between Hannity and Keith. It was a bit crude but the only way you can get people like Hannity to comprehend what is being said is to drop to his level. Keith said what is on the mind of so many but are too tactful and PC to say it. Talking with Hannity or a fan of his show is like talking to a drunk. There is no reasoning from someone who is unreasonable. Many of us are really tired of the Faux media propaganda BS and they make it embarrassing to be American. Ratings are already plummeting for the likes of Hannity and O’Reilly and it’s about time to get rid of their adultlessant behavior lacking any integrity.

  25. I’m pretty impressed that Ellison got himself on the program – Fox and Hannity especially don’t like even minimal challenges to their bizarre world view.

  26. Conservative, Republican. What’s the difference? I dare you to show me a Conservative that’s a Democrat. Conservative is a political philosophy, not a registered political pary dumbass.

  27. “Quite frankly, you are the worst excuse for a journalist I’ve ever seen. It’s absurd that you — the worst.”

  28. The GOP is holding this country’s economy hostage in order to stay in power. They are willing to do anything in order to avoid having the return tax rates to a workable level. GOP mouthpieces like Hannity are blaming this on Obama when nothing could be further from the truth. A huge majority of Americans want the tax loopholes closed. To refuse to do this is to put the obscenely wealthy in this country above the will, and the economic health, of the American people.

  29. ED: Sorry, in my reply, “brutal smack down” should be replaced by “brutal stomping” to echo the headline.

    Cheers,
    -d-

  30. If Ellison is your hero, I pity your movement. “Brutal smack down?” Hardly. More like an impetuous, impatient partisan who is more concerned about his talking points than the questions being put to him.

I am not a fan of Hannity–or any of the purveyors of distraction on Fox and MSNBC–but I have to say it’s not Hannity who looked bad in this interview. Ellison came off looking like a school yard punk looking for a fight. He started off the interview with an insult! And YOU think that’s the “money quote?” Jesus Jones, pray for us.

Of course all of this is why I’m an anarchist.

    -d-

    • The comparison of MSNBC and Fox is a false equivalency. Sean Hannity is a failed roofer/one year of college drop out. Does that make me an elitist simply because I expect higher standards from someone who pretends to discuss important topics? Would you let a roofer perform heart surgery? Given the Fox audience and their influence, people should be outraged that this ass clown is on the air every night spreading absolute lies, distortions and misinformation. Ellison is absolutely correct. As for being an Anarchist, you kind of lose any credibility when it comes to partisan hackery. At least politicians believe in something other than chaos.

    • Sorry, David, but Hannity got what he deserved. I would have to tell Ellison that Hannity is no more a journalist than I am; he is every bit a political hack. And I would have to correct you’re trying to associate Faux News with MSNBC. Faux News is just a Teapublican propaganda machine while MSNBC, as part of the hated MSM, just tells the news as it is. Teapublicans hate them because they never come out looking good.

      • “Faux News is just a Teapublican propaganda machine while MSNBC, as part of the hated MSM, just tells the news as it is. ”

Bwaaaaaaaa ha ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaaa! giggle> yeah, and Lawrence O’Donnell and Rachel Maddow and Chris Hayes are just hard-bitten journalists it’s no agenda. Got it.

Thanks for that. I needed the laugh.

    • While I agree that Ellison should have been more patient and let Hannity ask his questions but I understand when he outright lies about the facts and also claims he is not a Republican but a registered Conservative I will need to look into that but I don’t believe there is a “Conservative Party”. Fox news will never admit to bias towards one party or another because that would make their statement that Fox News is fair and balanced an obvious lie. Also Ellison stated facts and Hannity ignores them which is so typical of the right, and I can understand his frustration. But I do agree that coming on to the show and insulting him to start off with (even if it is true) isn’t a good way to call them to task. Even as I said if you present the documented facts in a calm manner that is the way to catch them and stomp them into the ground.

    • David: I agree. Mr. Ellison let his adrenalin cloud his debating ability. He forgot the first rule: He who freaks out loses. I was disappointed, I wanted to see a real stomping.

      Maybe next time, Keith.

  31. FIX NEWS,U LOST THE ELECTION,GET OVER IT BULLY

  32. IT IS ABOUT TIME SOMONE WILL TELL THE TRUTH ,IN UR FACE HANNITY
