A day celebrating civil rights hero Martin Luther King Jr. would not be complete without the right wing somehow tarnishing it with hate. From Sarah Palin using Dr. King to accuse the President of race-baiting to the entire right wing disputing the title of “doctor” in lieu of “Reverend” because those stinky liberals prefer facts to dogma, our friends in the stupid part of America have once again done everything in their power to desecrate the memorializing of a great man with lies and hatred.
Fortunately, we could count on one of the ten or so African American Republicans to bring home the gold on horrible, hateful statements against the President. Simply put: he needs to die (a common theme amongst right wingers these days).
On his official campaign Twitter account, Florida House candidate Joshua Black got behind a Presidential murder plot proposed by a visitor.
There was a significant internet backlash on the comments, but he simply doubled–and tripled–down on his remarks.
How do his fellow Republicans feel about this? Chris Latvala, who is running for a seat a district over, made his views very clear:
Nothing ensures a campaign victory like a Class D felony, right?
