While hoping to sway voters in the “right” direction, Quantico Tactical provided 30-round AR-15 magazines to anyone who presented a Virginia voter ID or active duty military ID for free. The Gun shop posted on Facebook “No Strings Attached – No Purchase Necessary.”
For Virginia gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli, it wasn’t enough. Cuccinelli lost, even after purging some 38,000 voters from the rolls.
In our world today there are a ridiculous amount of erratic, slanted, and unbelievably dishonest facts about both sides of gun control that it’s almost impossible to determine where to lean. But if you have read any gun control debates recently and have any common sense, you would probably realize that handing out assault rifle magazines for free to people not only has nothing to do with an election, but will not solve the government’s issues and only perpetuates the madness and division between the people in this country. Your fear is not a law and the 2nd amendment should not be misunderstood. Thankfully, the people of Virginia fought with more than just bullets and triumphed over a man running on extreme and irrational principles.
