A Colorado Republican candidate for county commissioner believes, like many other insane and demented ammosexuals, that the mass shooting at Sandy Hook was a hoax invented by Democrats to push gun control because Obummer’s comin’ fer our guns!
Sandy Hook “truthers” are nothing short of insane. One, for example, stole and desecrated two signs from memorial playgrounds honoring children who died in the attack that left 26 people dead. In one case, the culprit called the child’s mother and told her her daughter never existed. 28-year-old Andrew Truelove was arrested for the crime after he flaunted his deeds to the Daily Banter.
Other Sandy Hook truthers are so obsessed with the idea that the United States government faked the attack to push a radical gun-grabbing agenda that doesn’t exist that they cyber-stalk victims’ families.
All of this is part of “open discussion,” according to Tom Ready, who is attempting to unseat Democratic Pueblo County Commissioner Sal Pace. Recently, Ready posted an article that claims Sandy Hook may have been take.
When asked in a televised debate if he still stands by his “morally reprehensible remarks,” Ready said, “There’s still a question about whether it really happened, Sal,” earning a chorus of boos from the audience.
“Some of the people, if you recall, there was a picture of a man walking in whose daughter had died, he was smiling and joking,” he added. “When he walked into the room, he turned and all of a sudden had tears in his eyes. Why? I question that.”
“There’s nothing wrong with an open discussion,” Ready added.
Ready apologized to the Denver Post on Saturday. He told the Post that he is sorry he hurt family of those impacted by the loss of 20 children and 6 adults, but maintained that there are still questions about the legitimacy of the attack.
“We haven’t got all the questions answered,” he said, expressing shock at the offense taken by those who heard his remarks. “Where’s freedom of speech? I didn’t know we were a Communist community.”
