In this video, Glenn Beck says he stands on the side of Gandhi, Jesus and Martin Luther King while hyping paranoid civil war scenarios he says will inevitably brew over gun regulations. Beck appears to be urging his listeners to be passive and not violent, but talking about two exceptional human being that were killed by guns in reference to a supposed impending civil was over gun rights is a bit ironic, don’t you think? He also references “the way the Jews went to the concentration camps.” Oh, Glenn Beck, how your diseased cesspool of a mind never ceases to amaze us with its never ending ability to spin intricate webs of crazy.

Watching this guy in this video turned out to be a good recap on the “Symptoms of the Psychiatric Patient” lecture I had in school today. The delusions of persecution and grandeur, the loosening of association and the incoherent rambling all point to Schizophenia. This man should be in a hospital, not on television riling up other mentally unsound people.
I guess his fans are right to feel that their right to own a weapon is threatened if the federal government brings in the stringent mental health standards for gun ownership that they need to. If there was a mandatory psychiatric evaluation in order to get and retain a gun permit, none of his fans would pass.
Amen, Brother. This guy is certifiable. Sad, really…and scary that people actually listen to his ramblings.
Beck was so incoherent that I had to listen twice.
My opinion on the assault rifle situation is the following:
If you need a machine gun for hunting, then you’re an inept hunter; some use crossbows successfully.
Fully automatic weapons, aka “machine guns,” are illegal unless you have a federally administered license. An “assault rifle” uses the exact same bullet as a hunting rifle of the same caliber.
The 2nd ammendment has nothing to do with Hunting. Try to recall what you learned about the American revolution. When we declared our independence there would have been no need for guns if the King had simply acknowledged and accepted our right to choose to be free and seperate. But we were met with force backed by soldiers with weapons. The 2nd ammendment is in place to ensure that we have the ability to protect and defend ourselves from a Tyrannical government should that need ever arise. To meet a soldier who is weilding a M16 while you carry only a hunting rifle is akin to those revolutionaries meeting soldiers carrying muskets while they had only pitchforks. I do not agree with any violent revolutionary act. I do however believe that in a country that calls itself FREE and lives under the Constitution, removing a persons right to protect and defend that country and constitution is shameful.
As with many “con-servatives”, you lie about the wording of the Second Amendment.
It plainly states the need is for a Militia to protect the United States from OUTSIDE attack, not overthrow our OWN government.
And if you met a platoon of Marines with your toy AR-15 you’d be a corpse in ten seconds.
If you really want to defend this country, join the National Guard.
