Faux News contributor and “psychiatrist” Keith Ablow is at it again, “analyzing” the President from afar; something that no reputable psychiatrist would do, but which he has shamelessly done over and over again.
This time he tells a rapt Steve Doocey, a man more than willing to entertain any negative assertion about the President and accept it as factual, that the President feels that he was victimized by his white grandparents and is taking it out on the entire nation.
Doocey asked Ablow to analyze the recent rhetoric used by Obama attacking the recalcitrance of the TEApublicans in Congress and explain it from a psychiatric point of view.
Ablow responded saying, “In the words ‘hostage taking,’ ‘being held for ransom,’ there’s a real victim mentality here, and it really explains the president’s whole mentality and many of his policies.”
“I think the president – going back to when his dad abandoned him, when his mother left him with his grandparents, when he describes his grandmother as intimating that she didn’t trust people of color – that all of those things led him to feel victimized, hurt, and injured, and he has extended it to this country
Ablow asserts that, “The Republican Party is all about autonomy – what can you make of yourself, that’s not the president or his party.” He then concludes that the President sought to attain a position of power that he might exact “retribution” against those who he sees as having victimized him.
