According to Fox Host Andrea Tantaros and Representative Sean Duffy (R-WI), snow days are merely another tool that liberals are using to remove religion from schools.
This winter has been a roller coaster ride for the country; from the Sahara in the west to Siberia in the east, to say these last few winters have been weird is an understatement.
Back towards the beginning of this mess, Boston got buried under so much snow that the town of Easton, near Boston, has been forced to push the end of school to June 29 as a result. As a backup plan to keep from extending the school year next year, the school decided to scrap two Jewish holidays and one Christian holiday, instead.
That last one — yeah, scrapping the Christian holiday — that didn’t set well with the folks on Outnumbered.
Jedediah Bila, a Fox host, suggested that schools should start earlier to “avoid angering this religious group or that religious group, and let everyone have their religious holiday.”
But according to Representative Duffy, there was evil afoot.
That makes too much sense. Don’t let any good crisis go to waste, and if you want to take religion out of the public square, look at Boston and look at all the snow and say, ‘What a great reason now, we can take these religious holidays out of our school system.’
It’s using the crisis to liberal benefit.
You know, I think I’ve seen something like that on Infowars. Between the stories on the Illuminati and the Lizardman of Scape Ore Swamp, but after the interview with the cow who survived alien abduction, in fact.
That accusation isn’t designed to make sense, it’s designed to scare old folks like Mermaid Man up there in the meme. So of course, Andrea Tantaros agreed with it:
I think the congressman hit the nail on the head. This is what happens when liberal academic Boston meets ethnic Boston.
She added that schools should “Take away from president’s day or go a little earlier in the summer or even a Saturday. There’s other options but they don’t want those options. They would rather take away the religious holidays.”
