You know Fox News has stooped pretty low when they start going off on superheroes.
Captain America has really pissed conservatives off, but the reason why is f*cking hilarious.
A recent plot-line of the comic book has Captain America on a new mission, a mission against a group of White Supremacists called, Sons of the Serpent.
Only a Republican would get upset over a superhero fighting white racism, because duh, we all know white supremacy is code-word for Republican.
The Tea-Baggers over at the MacIver Institute also flipped their lids when the new issue of Captain America was released by Marvel.
In the issue out Wednesday, The Sons of the Serpent are a group of white males trying to stop Mexican immigration because Mexicans are trying to “steal American jobs, spread disease and crime, and collect welfare.”
Captain America comes in to save the immigrants from the obvious Republicans, and end the racial hatred that is American conservatism.
The funny part is that Republicans unwittingly admit the racist gang in the comic would have likely belonged to the Republican party, ya know, if they were were real.
Idiot conservatives everywhere are calling Captain America a socialist, and Fox & Friends actually accused Marvel of targeting conservatives specifically with this story-line.
Clayton Morris of Fox News called attention to the fact that the superhero is now sporting darker skin, then says this:
“He’s got a new odd enemy. Instead of going against Hydra and the typical Captain America villains, he’s going up against conservatives. That’s his new enemy.”
I believe they have forgotten Captain America’s plight with Hitler, and fighting that race war as well?
Or perhaps they are just too feeble minded to see that they are dead wrong about almost everything.
Tucker Carlson chimed in with this:
“The [Supreme Serpent] is an American who has misgivings about unlimited illegal immigration and the costs associated with it. And that, according to the comic book, is evil.”
Co-host Childers offered this gem:
“They should do a comic book on the opposite. The people who are working the border to keep us safe.”
Childers also, very ignorantly, said:
“Keep politics out of comic books.”
That Childers person should start doing some research on the subject on which they are about to speak, before words come out of that mouth. Because duh, Captain AMERICA is a political hero and always has been.
They are acting as if we share a border with Iraq!
This entire segment of Fox & Friends reminded America that not only do Republicans know nothing about government, but have now proven they can’t even keep up with pop culture.
Being blind enough to compare yourself to a white supremacist group in an animated comic book, speaks volumes about the kinds of human beings that conservatives truly are.
