Fox News contributor Laura Ingraham spent some time mocking and ridiculing the accent of a woman who apparently did not speak English as her first language. The woman made comments in protest of the high number of deportations under the Obama administration.
Ingraham aired comments from the pro-immigration reform protest, in which the woman states:
“We are here to say to President Barack Obama, not one more deportations [sic].”
After listening to the woman’s comments, a snide Ingraham mocked her, saying,
“Wait, what did she say at the end? I can’t — I need a translator. I speak Spanish too. I’d rather have her just speak Spanish, at least I’d understand that.”
It’s no surprise to hear this type of bigotry and discrimination from a Fox News correspondent. After all, when the majority of your contributors are already racist and full of hate, their lack of compassion is bound to eventually come through.
