Did you know that elevators have cameras? Ray Rice discovered that fact after viciously beating his fiance, now his wife, in a lift at an Atlantic City hotel. Rice then dragged her –caveman-style — from the elevator. Despite having the awful video, the NFL “punished” the Ravens running back with a two-day suspension. However, after facing harsh criticism from the media, the suspension was raised to six weeks (which, frankly, is not much better).
Rice managed to avoid legal punishment, as well, thanks to a program that will grant him a “get out of jail free” card for his felony assault charges after one year.
FOX and Friends think that this situation is just f*cking hilarious. After some friendly banter, host Steve Doocy said, “We should also point out, after that video — and now you know what happened in there — she still married him. They’re currently married.”
“Rihanna went back to Chris Brown right after,” co-host Brian Kilmeade chimed in. “A lot of people thought that was a terrible message.”
“I think the message is take the stairs,” Kilmeade added soon after, earning some chuckles from his ‘FOX Nation’ compatriots.
Yeah, buddy. Wink, f#[email protected] wink.
Doocy explained what the true message is. Was it “don’t hit women?” or “Don’t hit people” or even “If you think you might hit someone…stay in and have some f*cking Earl Gray?”
Maybe “smoke some pot and calm down?” Of course, toking up didn’t work out too well for Josh Gordon, who earned a season-long suspension for that.
“The message is,” Doocy said, “When you’re in an elevator, there’s a camera.” Sage advice…and a great lead-in to the next segment!
FOX and friends: where beating your significant other is just peachy, as long as you stay away from cameras while you’re doing it. Keep it off camera, and it’s a lot harder to get caught.
