Illinois GOP Rep. Aaron Schock had spent more $100,000 than of his taxpayer-funded account on office renovations in prior years. The expenses include thousands of dollars “for leather furniture, hardwood floors and marble countertops for his offices in his central Illinois congressional district,” according to USA Today.
But the office renovations aren’t the only examples of lavish spending leveled at the lawmaker.
CBS News is reporting that “an ethics watchdog group plans to file a new federal complaint against him, saying he improperly spent campaign funds to fly on private planes, among other luxurious items.”
