During the bastion of bigots they call Fox & Friends this morning, Geraldo Rivera joined the hosts to discuss the outcome of George Zimmerman’s trial. Rivera defended a statement he made several months ago insisting that dressing like a “thug” makes you a target of mistreatment, saying, “You dress like a thug, people are going to treat you like a thug. That’s true. I stand by that.”
Then the conversation turned to the black community and how civil right’s leaders, like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, are–in Rivera’s mind–not doing enough to curtail violence among young African-Americans.
Tucker Carlson injected his oh-so insightful opinion, declaring,
“I am positive that people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton do not deserve to be called civil rights leaders–they are not– they are hustlers and pimps who make a living off inflaming racial tensions.”
Rivera made the wise decision to stay away from that comment.
Carlson went on to say that the “we in the press” (LOL!) unjustifiably “enable” Jackson and Sharpton as civil rights leaders, while he firmly believes they are, in fact, not sincere.
I guess it’s kind of like how the double digit IQ-possessing lemmings “enable” Fox by calling it “news” when I am positive it’s just a bunch of entitled, privileged, sheltered, out-of-touch, flaming racist hacks doing Roger Ailes’s bidding like the good, largely brain-dead puppets they are.
Hey Fox “News” team, don’t you have some robes to put on and a rally to get to?
