This story seems too good to be true! Recently, Glenn Beck criticized the World Wrestling Entertainment organization for creating racist, anti-immigrant Tea Party characters, Zebediah Colter and Jack Swagger. In response, the WWE invited Beck to come on their program, but Beck wasn’t having it. Apparently, the lying, fear-mongering racist fraud doesn’t take to0 kindly to other fake programs!
“Unfortunately I am currently booked doing anything else.”
So “Coulter” and “Swagger” made a “promo” in which they used spot on Tea Party rhetoric about how illegal immigrants are taking jobs from “real Americans” and are working for “next to nothing.” Coulter went on to say that if “you’re in this country illegally you should leave.” Swagger followed, “Or we’ll make you leave!”
Then the two actors break out of character and really slam Beck! Coulter, (Wayne Keown) said,
“Hey Glenn Beck, what you just saw is what we call a promo. It’s a scene we record to illicit a positive or negative reaction from our fans…We are in the entertainment business. Everything we do as our characters is designed to tell stories. Right now the story we’re telling is that Zeb Coulter and Jack Swagger are using the current, relevant, and topical story of immigration to target the WWE world champion Alberto Del Rio.”
Keown, AKA “Zeb Colter” went on to explain to Beck that by insulting WWE as “stupid” wrestling people, he has “by implication” insulted all the WWE fans which include “20 percent Hispanic, 22 percent is African American, 35 percent female,” according to Keown.
