Jerry DeLemus, the man who claims he sent Jerad and Amanda Miller away from Cliven Bundy’s ranch and into the big, wide world where they would later murder two police officers, drape their bodies with the Gadsden flag, and declare the murders to be the start of the ‘Revolution™’ promised by the idiots who spend their days loafing around the ranch, is running for Sheriff of Stafford County, NH.
According to Delemus, he has the mystical ability to tell if the crazed lunatic with the AR-15 is simply a delusional “patriot” exercising his rights, or is a threat:
“Believe me, if I would have been in that restaurant, armed, and I’d have seen them shooting at those police, I’d have shot them myself,” Delemus said. “I’d have dropped them as sure as we’re sitting here.”
Delemus said it may have been possible to stop the Millers if local law enforcement intervened after the couple was sent away from the ranch.
“We did what we could,” Delemus said. “We saw there could have possibly been an issue and sent them on their way. We weren’t getting any assistance from the one legal authority that was around, which was Sheriff Gillespie. He wouldn’t have any communication with us.”
Gillespie, of course, has had his hands full investigating a plethora of complaints against those at the Bundy Ranch–including threats against police, against local hotels who housed BLM agents, and a slew of other Bundy issues.
Before you form the opinion that this man is insane, take a look at the sensible remarks he made when he was exploring starting a militia.
“The choice we have is to either do nothing or become active in order to defend our freedoms as well as our country. Our Founding Fathers knew full well that this day could come and this is exactly why they put to pen the Constitution with American’s inalienable rights in mind. We will be organizing and have an open discussion of our country and state’s current condition.”
DeLemus went on to share his fears, thus, “I believe that we have another financial collapse coming soon and it will be worse than the one in 2008. There are stark differences we must realize that we have nearly a 0% interest rate and our debt is nearly double. Not to mention our credit rating has been dropped. On top of this we have a government that has no respect or regard for the rule of law as provided in our Constitution.
“If we do not stand against this insanity we can be sure we will fully slip into tyranny. We are in a similar position our Founding Fathers found themselves in and their decision to stand was equally difficult.”
Stafford County, this man–armed with the magical power to tell good from evil–wants to be in a position of power and authority. Are you going to let him?
