For anyone who remembers that MTV show, The Real World, you’ll be delighted to know that two cast members are now a part of our working government.
Sean Duffy was a cast member on Real World Boston, and is now a Republican Congressman out of Wisconsin.
Like any Republican man, he needs a woman who will stay at home and make her entire life about birthing and raising his seven children, while occasionally finding the time to go on ignorant rants to the media. That lucky dingbat is Rachel Campos-Duffy, also a former Real World cast member.
To refresh your memory, Rachel was the naive “Catholic” bad girl on the San Francisco cast.
Recently, in an interview with CNN anchor Fredericka Whitfield, Campos-Duffy said that President Obama is so determined to keep Planned Parenthood open that he will shut down the government to do it.
In what world does this idiot live? Oh yea, a world where her sole purpose in life is to be an incubator, likely watching countless hours of Fox News until her brain cells are literally running away.
Duffy was asked what she thought about the newly appointed Speaker of the House Paul Ryan’s agenda would be regarding Planned Parenthood.
The reality TV star said that Ryan was a “great communicator” who would bring much needed understanding of the inner workings of the House of Representatives.
Democratic strategist Maria Cardona replied to that nonsense by speaking the truth, saying that Ryan had actually been very unclear about his intentions in allowing a government shut-down.
Cardona the called the GOP’s attack on Planned Parenthood a “wildly unpopular idea.”
Campos, full diaper-changing expertise, jumped into Tea Bagger attack mode, complete with bulging eyes:
“Wrong, (Paul Ryan) was very clear even before he saw these horrific videos that somehow Maria seems okay defending — the sale of body parts, late terms…”
Cardona cuts her off:
“You mean the edited videos?”
Duffy then says:
“They are not edited, and you can go online and see them.”
Now realizing she is not only dealing with a political expert, but also an expert in video editing, Cardona tried once again to make a bitch think:
“You mean those videos that aren’t actually from Planned Parenthood?”
Campos-Duffy, getting aggravated at all the sense the Democrat was making, said this:
“The unedited versions are online and they are just as gruesome. Let me just make my point. My point is that, the, uh, the House Republicans, all of them — and Paul Ryan was very clear, even before these gruesome videos, that he was against the taxpayer paying for other people’s abortions. We know that those funds are fungible and this is a fiscal issue as well as a moral issue. I want to challenge the premise of the question.”
“Republicans don’t want to shut down the government to defund Planned Parenthood, she said, “That is not the correct way to say it. They will send a budget. The budget will not include funding for Planned Parenthood and it will be up to the president to decide whether he wants to expire the budget based on funding for Planned Parenthood.”
