Ex-Army General Claims Jesus Will Be Returning to Earth Sporting an AR-15 (Audio)

Look alive, everyone. This is not a drill. Jesus is coming for you, and on that glorious day when he returns, the King of Kings will be sporting an AR-15, according to retired Lt. Gen. William G “Jerry” Boykin. No, really. He’s serious.

According to Boykin, Jesus is a merciless killer and the second amendment is his proof. Who do you think gave the founding fathers the idea for the second amendment? That’s right– Jesus Christ, himself. And you’re not supposed to admire his shining “sword” from afar. You’re supposed to have one too. So sell your stuff so you and Jesus can have matching assault rifles for the end of days.

Boykin said,

“The Lord is a warrior and in Revelation 19 is says when he comes back, he’s coming back as what? A warrior. A mighty warrior leading a mighty army, riding a white horse with a blood-stained white robe … I believe that blood on that robe is the blood of his enemies ’cause he’s coming back as a warrior carrying a sword.

And I believe now – I’ve checked this out – I believe that sword he’ll be carrying when he comes back is an AR-15.

Now I want you to think about this: where did the Second Amendment come from? … From the Founding Fathers, it’s in the Constitution. Well, yeah, I know that. But where did the whole concept come from? It came from Jesus when he said to his disciples ‘now, if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.

I know, everybody says that was a metaphor. IT WAS NOT A METAPHOR!… And the sword today is an AR-15, so if you don’t have one, go get one. You’re supposed to have one. It’s biblical.”

My bet…if Jesus did come back, Boykin would probably shoot him on the spot.

  • Bob shipp

There is a reason this guy is “Ex-Army”!

  • Deeb

Jesus is coming back as Rambo.

    • Donny Coach

Deeb…If Jesus does come back (fat chance), carrying a gun, you can bet the first to be shot will be Boykin.

This General is only the tip of the problem. The Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) has been fighting this fanatical religious faction in the military for years. These people target non-Christians, and even Christians they believe are not radical enough, with harassment for not “believing” as they do. They consider the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to be Christian Crusades, which has exacerbated relations in those countries between our military and the populace. This was done by writing bible citations on rifles, trying to give bibles to the locals and writing, in Arabic, Jesus killed Mohammed on vehicles. To our troops, in every branch of the military, they harass, destroy non-Christian displays and force them to attend Christian religious services. A great majority, of which there are tens of thousands, are Christians who have no recourse since their chain of command is part of the problem. But MRFF has been able to fight back against some of these problems, notably at the Air Force Academy in Colorado.

This is a comment for the site itself – YOUR VERY NAME “Americans Against the Tea Party” conflicts with your advertising, which at this moment is promoting “Liberty University” — really? The disjunct is jarring to say the least.

We don’t have any control over what ads you personally see. We block those ads when we see them.

    • Perry

Much of the advertising you see on the fringes of pages you go to are based on web sites and information you have previously searched. Your information is cataloged and used to feed you relevant advertising. This is done by your IP and may have no link to this page.

“I’ve checked this out – I believe that sword he’ll be carrying when he comes back is an AR-15.”
—He has checked this out how, exactly?! Perhaps by praying to the Saints: Colt, Browning, Smith, and Wesson?

Sounds like the ol’ general stood a little too close to those stun grenades and knocked the ol’ noggin a bit off course.

  • Sparkytdg

No no no. The Founders, and only a few of them, were Deists at best you Moran. This guy has “students”? That is one scary idea.

and when what’s his name went to pull the sword Jesus told him to put it away because those that live by the sword will die by the sword, Jesus was using a metaphor to teach his disciples to arm themselves with knowledge because those that advocate violence will meet violent ends, apparently Boykin didn’t get the memo

Keith B…Do you know you’re the reason the various religions had to create hell. Hell is for people like you who ask intelligent questions and interpret the bible intelligently.

I think people are limited in what they read and hear and are ignorant and wrap that up with religion and you’ve got America

  • Kevan Scott

These people obviously have not read or just plain ignore the Bible and the New Testament words of Jesus who preached peace instead of war, to feed the poor, care for the sick, visit those in prison etc. If you are one of those that believe in an all powerful, all knowing God then why would Jesus need an AR-15 to kick ass and take names? No, these people are cherry picking Bible passages to further their own hateful agenda. They scare me, only because it sometimes seems like there are so many sheepole who blindly follow any nutcase that comes along, giving them money that they can’t afford and turning their minds over to them to further the hate in any way that the preacher says God told him. Very sad and we can only continue to raise our voices and votes against the hate filled agenda of these “Christian’ agenda.

According to Revelations 19, Jesus leads Heaven’s armies to the final defeat of Satan and his armies. What Boykin OBVIOUSLY fails to realize is that this occurs 1000 years AFTER the Rapture takes place. Satan is supposed to rule for 1000 years, THEN Jesus leads the archangels to Satan’s final defeat. The Rapture itself marks the beginning of Satan’s 1000-year rule on Earth. If the guy is going to try to give us Bible lessons, the least he could do is get them right.

    • http://thunderinthepost.wordpress.com Shifflett

Revelations 3: 10-11 were the verses that spoke in regards to the Rapture.

  • Perry

How does Gen. Boykin know this? The voices in his head told him so.

    • riktiktavi

“The voices in his head told him so”.

That’s gotta be it because he is obviously F**ked in the head.
