Desperately clinging to relevance, Sarah Palin took to her Facebook page to canonize Margaret Thatcher, a horrible vile woman who supported apartheid and bloody dictator Pinochet. Palin wrote,
“While the Iron Lady is sadly gone, her iron will, her unfailing trust in what is right and just, and her lessons to all of us will live on forever. She was a trailblazer like no other. We lost an icon, but her legacy, as solid as iron, will live on in perpetuity.”
Thank God for spell-check, right?
Ann Coulter told mustachioed Fox News lackey Geraldo that Thatcher wanted to meet Palin shortly after she was chosen by John McCain to ride their spectacular failure of a campaign into the toilet bowl of history.
Coulter said, “One thing that I know, because I know people who know her (Thatcher), is when Sarah Palin first burst on the scene, she wanted to have a meeting with Palin because she saw raw political talent, but wanted to teach Sarah Palin to do what she did. I just know it from friends of hers.” Nice source, Ann. Really? Coulter went on to say that Thatcher wanted to teach Palin “proper English!”
