When Robin Williams does his stand up routine, everyone laughs non-stop, this is a well known fact. It is also well known that he can improvise at the drop of a hat — or in the case of a December 2007 U.S.O. show in Kuwait, when his entire audience turn their backs to him.
As Williams joked that he was glad to be in a place where the beer was fake having just gotten out of rehab, a bugle suddenly began to sound in the distance and the entire audience rose to their feet and turned their backs to the stage. After he stopped speaking, lowered his mike and stood still and silent, taking his cue from the soldiers he was there to entertain, Williams’ talents sprang into action.
