By now most of you will have seen some stupid conservative meme going around about President Obama’s vacation days “on the taxpayer dime.” Conservatives have tiny brains with short memories. They forget the absentee President George W. Bush, who holds the record for most vacation days ever. But then again, President George W. Bush was the right corporate color, wasn’t he, TEApublicans? Unlike this TEApublican Congress that’s only worked about 20 days a month, called “The Congress that’s never there,” President Obama works hard, all the time. Thanks to Rachel Maddow’s Blog we have this devastating bit of truth with which to curb-check the Republicans:
According to the AP:
“Obama has taken far less time away from the White House than his predecessor, George W. Bush, who spent weeks at a time at his ranch in Crawford, Texas. Obama has taken 87 days off, compared with 399 days for Bush at a similar period in his presidency, according to CBS News’s Mark Knoller, who keeps detailed records of presidential travel.”
