While most people reacted by mourning the loss of Williams, conservatives spent their time calling him a coward for succumbing to his battle with depression, idiotically capitalizing on the opportunity to advertise themselves, and blaming the actor’s demise on Williams’ “leftist worldview,” among other things.
President Obama issued a statement mourning the loss of the iconic actor. “Robin Williams was an airman, a doctor, a genie, a nanny, a president, a professor, a bangarang Peter Pan, and everything in between. But he was one of a kind. He arrived in our lives as an alien – but he ended up touching every element of the human spirit,” the statement read, in part.
Some conservatives took to Twitter to express their outrage…that President Obama and the media consider the death of someone who has touched nearly every American’s life to be more important than their sham “investigations” and “Obama scandals.”
We can only imagine Robin’s response to these vapid, mouth-breathing imbeciles–but we hope that it would include some Elmer Fudd.
It is truly pitiable that some are unable to take time away from politics to mourn the death of a good man. While they continue to seethe over Benghazi, the rest of us will fondly remember our good friend Robin Williams, and all the good times he gave to us.
