Bill O’Reilly, an avowed Catholic has said that he heard voices in the middle of the night inspiring him to write his book: Killing Jesus. Could it have been in fact the Holy Spirit?
The Fox pundit says “yes.”
Fellow Catholic Stephen Colbert admitted he was the one whispering to O’Reilly.
Because God went to Colbert first, pitched the book and Colbert passed.
After all, as Colbert says “Don’t tell people about the voices you hear in the middle of the night, otherwise they’ll think you’re a crazy narcissist!”
The Fox News maven and prolific author apparently believes that he can write about the life of Jesus Christ without having absorbed any of His teachings. Nor is it incumbent upon
O’Reilly to actually embody the beliefs that Jesus’ life represented.
He also adjusted parts of the Bible to his liking.
Colbert was quick to rush to O’Reilly’s defense. Because apparently if critics’ don’t love this book, O’Reilly lashes out. In fact, anyone who disparages this tome is questioning O’Reilly’s faith.
“This man is filled with the spirit of Christianity! Rule number one: no forgiveness, motherfucker!”
Colbert issues the warning “spoiler alert” about the title of O’Reilly’s latest moneymaking venture, ooops important novel.
