One member of the Bundy family is facing arrest! No, sadly, it’s not for that. Lance Bundy, son of domestic terrorist and racist welfare cowboy Cliven, is facing arrest stemming from his 2012 felony conviction on burglary and weapon charges.
Cliven Lance Bundy is aware that he is named in a contempt-of-court warrant issued July 8 in Las Vegas for failure to appear before a Clark County District Court judge who oversees a drug diversion program. “I’m trying to get ahold of my counselor to see what I’m supposed to do,” said Lance Bundy, ignoring the obvious (SHOW UP).
Bundy said he underwent a conveniently-timed outpatient surgery the day the warrant was issued and has been “recovering” at hi parents’ home/compound in Bunkerville since. Unfortunately for Bundy, court records show that he has missed several previous hearings. Officials said they were unable to reach him to notify him of court dates.
Bundy could face two to eight years in prison if he is found in violation of the terms of the five-year probation imposed after he pleaded guilty to the felony charges. Bundy blames his conviction to his addition to opiate painkillers and says he has been getting counseling.
Cliven and Carol Bundy assert that they thought their son had obtained medical released from the drug program.
