This Monday, former combat engineer Christian Palmer busted a poor soul at a Fresno airport impersonating an Army EOD Specialist.
Before Palmer started to record the incident, he said the imposter claimed he was in the EOD (Explosive Ordinance Disposal). Palmer and a cop (also heard off camera) both questioned the man, with Palmer asking:
“If you’re EOD, what’s R.E. factor of C4? What’s your MOS?”
The man struggled to answer the question and after further pressure, confesses that the uniform isn’t his and belongs to his stepson, adding that the reason he’s wearing the uniform is because he didn’t have anything to wear.
At the end of the video, the cop on scene tells the man that if he ever pulls this stunt again, he’d probably be arrested. The act of Stolen Valor is not just a tremendous show of disrespect to veterans, it’s also a federal crime.
