Laura Ramadei, a bartender at the bustling Lucky Strike bistro in SoHo quit her job (which she generally liked, and which paid the bills) because Lederman’s insulting behavior and the way he stiffed her on the tip for rejecting his unwanted advances was the last freaking straw.
“I’ve grabbed plenty of girls’ asses in my life. But I’ve never grabbed hers. […] I clearly remember making a joke when the girl said, ‘What would you like. I kiddingly said, ‘I would like you to go with nothing on it.’ ”
That’s not even the “joke” Ramedei said Lederman made (she wrote that he put his hand “on her @ss” and asked he could have her “to go.”)… He must have said that at some other bar.
But wait… there’s more. When the reporter pressed Lederman for more details on his incident with Ramadei, he called her the dreaded c-word and did that stereotypical “You’ll never work in this town again” Hollywood producer thing:
“That f–king c–t, for her to do something like that is pretty ridiculous, I will make sure she doesn’t get another job in New York City. I know everybody. The bar owners, the club owners — that’s a terrible thing to write about somebody.”
Most folks who’ve heard about this find Lederman’s behavior deplorable, but — apparently — the Facebook friends of Wall Street hedge fund managers are a whole different breed. If you judge a man by the company he keeps, you’ve got to wonder about Lederman’s friends.
Because Lederman’s friends on Facebook seem to think the whole thing’s freaking hilarious… and now he’s denying that whole obnoxious incident with actress and arts entrepreneur Laura Ramedai ever happened.
SUPER DOUCHE WHO GRABS STRANGE ASS!!
CALLS WOMAN A C*nt in the NY POST HAHAHA
Dimka Rozinov adds:
the ASS grabber at GHR – looking good!
Another friend, Marco Laureti, chimes in:
What happened here. I know Brian and he has always been very respectful.
Easy to say when you aren’t working for tips when Lederman’s in da house. But the thing that bugs me is how these people think it’s soooooooooo hilarious and don’t even care that Ramadei — and Lord knows how many other women — were driven to quit their jobs because of lechers like Lederman.
Lederman then claims the whole thing never happened:
Marco it’s all a fabricated story blown into a full ridiculous circus !!! Anyone who knows me knows I don’t grab asses !!! WTF it’s a bad joke and I am not laughing believe me the girl totally lied about the facts I never harrassed her NEVER groped grabbed or even touched her its a play for attention and I’m the victim
Life goes on … All a bunch of bs the post called I had no idea they were actually writing any article just wanted the facts blew all the words I said out of context I never said 90 % that they quoted me on I mistakenly used the c word that was my biggest mistake out of anger dealing with all the bs stories
To which, a friend named Marc Rifkin replies, in keeping with that whole white privileged @sshole “don’t apologize, don’t explain” thang:
WTF is right. the more you talk about this, the more it stays in the forefront.
Another friend responds;
Brian has every right to publicly defend himself. Are those Gucci cuff links?
But the Gucci cufflinks comment shows why Lederman should STFU and hire a lawyer. Good freaken luck.
