Attorney General Eric Holder had a few choice words for Sarah Palin, with emphasis on “few.” Recall that Sarah Palin recently joined the right-wing outrage machine in calls for the impeachment of President Obama with a piece published on Breibart.com (quality journalism right there), and made headlines briefly following it.
In response to her calls, host George Stephanopoulos — of This Week with George Stephanopoulos — played a clip of Eric Holder slamming Palin:
“She wasn’t a particularly good Vice Presidential candidate, and she’s an even worse judge of who ought to be impeached and why.”
After playing the clip, the panel then discussed the danger of calling for impeachment. When Stephanopoulos brought up 1998 and the attempt to impeach President Clinton, the two GOP pundits on the panel dismissed the calls for impeachment, and suggested they come from the irrelevant right-wing fringe.
