A 49-year-old man in Rockland County New York has been arrested after his landlord alerted police of threats she discovered while “stalking” his Facebook page. Police investigating the man, Lawrence Mulqueen, found a stockpile of weapons in his rental apartment as well as a hit list of liberal politicians he posted to Facebook.
“Use blades when you can to conserve bullets,” Mulqueen instructed on Facebook. “Always shoot them at 100 yards or more when you can, the further away they are the least you have to worry about.”
Mulqueen’s Facebook profile, which was created with an alias, also stated he was, “anxious to start killing various public officials” and listed New York City politicians Mayor Bloomberg, Gov. Cuomo and Sen. Schumer, as well as other Democrats in Washington including Rep. Nita Lowey, Rep. Nancy Pelosi, Sen. Harry Reid and all of the Congressional Black Caucus members. He also wrote he wanted “all followers of President Barack Obama dead,” labeling them “traitor scum.”
I cannot wait to start killing the scum. I want these scumbags DEAD!!! That traitor scum, Obama subservient eunichs, f–k them and death to them all.
Sgt. Glenn Cummings of the Clarkstown, New York Police Department decided to err on the side of caution and arrest Mulqueen, telling 1010 WINS, “I can’t say what his intentions were or how serious his threats were. It’s better to be preemptive about these things rather than wait.”
Cummings said, based on the various threats, he thinks Mr. Mulqueen was embittered about possible gun-control laws taking effect. “I think what may have particularly have gotten his ire in the past month or two were the various legislations enacted with respect to the rights to possess a firearm. I think that was particularly upsetting to him,” he said. “One posting which was posted about a month ago said that if anybody ever came to take the arms, they would suffer the consequences.”
A search of Mulqueen’s apartment uncovered an arsenal consisting of two high-powered rifles, two bayonets, a sword, a knuckle knife, body armor and 100 rounds of ammunition, including 27 bullets capable of piercing body armor.
Mulqueen’s weapons stash
Mulqueen, a convicted felon, has a police record that lists felony DWI, harassment and criminal contempt.
“I was just worried this guy was nuts,” his landlord, Fran Pillarsdorf, said of Mulqueen, who she believes is mentally ill..
When the booze and the hate came together it really creeped me out. That was dangerous, especially when you throw a gun in the mix.
We at AATTP wholeheartedly agree.
