Cheating Josh Duggar, 27, former star of 19 Kids and Counting, was more than a little unfaithful to his wife, Anna, 27. Since the reality star’s confessions, she has long remained quiet. But Anna is speaking out now with his sisters who are previewing their three-part special on TLC, Jill and Jessa: Counting On.
Anna was emotional in the reality show teaser:
“It was heartbreaking to hear what had happened.”
In addition to adultery, Josh Duggar is also addicted to pornography; although, he later retracted this admission. He confessed to molesting both of his sisters and other underage girls while he was in his teens. He also joined a dating site for cheating married people while he was married to Anna.
Josh’s sister, Jill (Duggar) Dillard, 24, and Jessa (Duggar) Seewald, 23, speak out emotionally in their reality show preview. Jill was even more upset than Anna in the promo. She said:
“I cried a lot of tears. My first thoughts were for Anna.”
The other reality show sister, Jessa, also commented:
“Someone who you love, how could this happen? [But] we’re getting through.”
Some of the Duggar family have forgiven Josh and are sending him cards of encouragement. Not all of the family is involved in the card writing, and a number of members understandably have a hard time forgiving him.
In August, Josh went into a faith-based rehabilitation center, located in Rockford, Ill. There is some speculation as to whether or not he will return to the Duggar family home in Springdale, Ark., for Thanksgiving.
Josh’s younger sister, Jill, is optimistic about the outcome of the stress Josh inflicted upon his family. She said:
“We will come out of this fire.”
Jill and Jessa: Counting On premiers December 13th Sunday at 8/7 on TLC. Check out this video:
