With all the constant negativity surrounding Obamacare and the massive glitches and concerns of Healthcare.gov, three 20 year old computer techs took it upon themselves to provide a free service to the millions of Americans in search of a new health plan.
Ning Liang, George Kalogeropoulos and Michael Wasser developed a functional site in a matter of days and it provides services that the costly, glitchy, and uncertain healthcare.gov can’t.
‘They got it completely backwards in terms of what people want up front,’ said Liang. ‘They [the people] want prices and benefits, so that they could make the decision.”
HealthSherpa.com, is merely 2 weeks old and permits a user to easily apply their zip code and see all the health options available to them by area.
